CONDITIONS FOR GRADED TEAMS HANDICAP EVENT The handicap is calculated on the last eight results excluding the Top and Bottom. New players are set at 50% until they have played sufficiently often. CONDITIONS FOR RUTH OLSEN RESTRICTED PAIRS EVENT This event is open to all members with <300MPs as at 31st March in the year the event is held. CONDITIONS FOR CLUB GNOT QUALIFYING EVENT Sunshine Coast Zone Clubs will be holding their individual GNOT heats usually during the months of March through to May. All financial members of Sunshine Coast clubs are entitled to enter these events. Upon entering all teams are required to declare whether they are "contending" or not, ie that is whether they are seeking to qualify to play in the later semi-finals. Once a team has qualified then they are required to declare "not contending" in further heats. A player can play in any number of heats in any number of teams but can only qualify once and must declare "non contending" once qualified and thus that entire team is declared as non contending. The Director of each heat will declare the top third of the field of contending teams as now "qualified" to proceed to the semi-final round, usually held in June.
